Weekly Update
for the Week Ending
Friday, May 10
Dear
Room 15 Families,
Get ready for our 2nd annual Mustang Maker Night on Wed 5/15 from 5-8pm, an evening packed with hands-on tinkering, robotics, crafts, and all kinds of fun experiments. Local businesses that specialize in providing children with maker activities are enthusiastic to return, and we have amazing parent-led booths planned for all ages. Food trucks will be on site for easy dinner!
We
hope that you are able to join us on Thursday from 2:15 – 3:00 for
the second grade music concert. We will be in
the MPR.
We are
continuing our math routine focused around MATH
FACT FLUENCY. Continued progress may
require practice at home. There are many
resources to help build this skill. In
addition to flash cards and various workbooks, https://gregtangmath.com is a personal favorite and offers a whole bunch of options. These include online games, printables, books
and puzzles geared to help build math fact fluency in fun and productive ways.
•REVISION INQUIRY: We would really love to have you come in
and share your experience about how you use mistakes in your life. More
info here
