Image
August 23, 2018 Dear Room 15 Family, I hope that your child had a fun first day of second grade.   I certainly did!   I trust that your child will have a lot to share with you about the day back at Edna Maguire.   It was certainly full! Some of the things we did today include; •went on a guided scavenger hunt of the Edna Maguire campus •spent time mapping out our classroom •found our own “attendance magnet” • talked about our “First Day Feelings” •enjoyed the first exciting chapter of Poppy •hosted a guest speaker tell us about one way she uses mistakes to help her get better •milled about our room a bit as we got to know each other through a musical game You may want to ask your child about a few of these specifics to get some details. Please know that you will be provided a lot of information about our classroom at Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday, September 13.   For now, here are just a few things that I wanted to let you know
