Weekly Update
for the Week Ending
Friday, December 21

Dear Room 15 Families,

I trust that you and your families figured out how to make the very most of our two-week break.  I, for one, enjoyed more time with family, but really just can’t wait to get back to room 15.  Two weeks is a pretty long time…

Thank you so much for joining us for Friday’s sharing of our small moment stories.  We are excited to use what we learned about writing during our small moment study and continue to grow as writers.

On Friday, we also enjoyed our Winter Wonderland Café.  This gave us a chance to add dollar amounts to get a grand total.  We also calculated the changed.  Maybe the most important part, is that we got to enjoy some sweet treats on the last day of school in 2018.

Please be on the lookout for important FIELD TRIP INFORMATION this week in your child’s homework folder on Monday.  After reviewing it, please let me know if you have any questions.

As part of our GRANDPARENT BIOGRAPHIES, we would LOVE to have a photo of the grandparent your child will be writing about.  Don’t worry about the quality (it can be a photo of the photo), size or age of the photo.  It would be best if this could be emailed to me or added to your child’s Google Drive.

•REVISION INQUIRY: We would really love to have you come in and share your experience about how you use mistakes in your life.       More info here
