Weekly Update
for the Week Ending
Friday, November 9
Dear
Room 15 Families,
It
has been wonderful to sit down and talk with you during conferences. I look forward to doing that with everyone
this week.
Thank
you for the donation of the flower pots.
We have plenty now and students will be able to choose from a varied
assortment.
Unfortunately,
there is NO READ and RELAX this Friday.
The good news is that we have an all-school PROUD assembly scheduled for
that time, so that will be fun.
Remember that dismissal for the next two weeks
is at 1:55 each day.
•REVISION INQUIRY: We would really
love to have you come in and share your experience about how you use
mistakes in your life. More

What’s
Coming Up:
•This week, we use Langston
Hughes’ poem Thanksgiving Time. We will use this as a model to share what we
love about Thanksgiving.
•We will read several
biographies as we look at the subjects of these books as CHANGE AGENTS affecting change in the world.
•We will continue to focus on
place value.
•We will start building our fairy
gardens (hopefully).
•We will hear all about Oreo’s
first big weekend away from room 15.
